Ownership rights to shareholdings in 14 geological exploration enterprises were obtained by Rosgeology: OJSC VolgaGeology, OAO Georegion, ZapsibgeolSemka, KavkazgeolSemka, Chitageologorazvedka, Irkutskgeofizika, Sevmorgeo, Dalgeofizika, OAO Petersburg Complex Geological Expedition, Sevzapgeologiya OJSC, Tsentrkvarts OJSC, Buryat Center for Regional Geological Works OJSC, VNIIGeofizika OJSC, Geocenter-Moscow OJSC. Thus, the process of consolidating 37 enterprises listed in Presidential Decree No. 957 of 15.07.2011 "On Open Joint-Stock Company Rosgeology" into a single holding was completed.
"We, as promised, completed this process by 2014," said General Director of Rosgeology Roman Panov. "An inventory has been carried out for all 37 enterprises, we understand the real state of affairs on them, the existing problems. The ways of their solution are described in the Development Strategy of the holding company developed until 2020. The main points of growth are also identified there. The document received principled support from Rosnedra and the Ministry of Natural Resources. It is important now to coordinate the Strategy with the Government and start implementing it. "
